North Idaho Mushroom Club: NIMA- North Idaho Mycological Association

Nima is a North Idaho Mushroom Club which encompasses Coeur d'Alene, Priest Lake, Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, and areas in between. Nima meets once a month during the spring and fall. Two mushroom forays are planned each season with the annual 'Coral Cookout' in June. Nima is open to all whom are interested in searching for, identifying, learning about, photographing, and discovering fungi, or just enjoying what the great outdoors has to offer!

First Meeting of 2012 & Meeting Schedule

NIMA meets at 6:00 P.M. on the first Thursday of every month (during prime 'mushroom season') at the Hayden Library 8385 N. Government Way Hayden ID, unless noted otherwise.

Wandered about our ten acres of woodland looking for morels today with no success but for a few Gyromitra gigas. I would post a picture but haven't figured out how to do that yet. (Lori, where are you I need help!)
